Thank You!

Marianne Golike, LCPC

We, at Restorative Solutions Counseling, LLC, would like to extend our appreciation to Marianne Golike, LCPC. Marianne was one of the three original founding partners of RSC in 2016.

Marianne has touched many lives in the course of her career. She started her counseling journey in 1982 after she received her degree. A world traveler, she started an international private practice in Saudi Arabia and worked there for 16 years. When she returned to the US, she began working for Children’s Home and Aid, and was there from 1998 to 2016. She became a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in 2001. Children’s Home and Aid was also where she met Natasha, as they shared an office. She met Lois by supervising her when Lois was working on obtaining her license. Eventually, all three of them decided they were ready to take the scary step into private practice and saw Jerseyville as an area that had a lot of mental health needs with few resources.

Marianne has loved being a counselor. She loves seeing her clients’ growth and progress. She has always enjoyed helping people through difficult times. She has especially loved helping kids obtain the necessary diagnoses that they needed in order to obtain the services that would help them to learn and grow in school and out in their community.

Marianne has personally helped many people in our region, and by assisting in the creation of RSC, she has also helped the rest of us to meet the mental health needs of people within our local communities.

In retirement, Marianne plans to spend more time with her children and grandkids, who are located all over the US. She will also still continue to work with a small number of clients through a private practice at an Alton church.

Marianne, you will be missed, and we wish you all the best as you enjoy your well-earned retirement.
